Dr. Launette Woolforde is the Deputy Chief Nursing Officer at Northwell Health. With 85,000 employees including 18,500 nurses, Northwell is the largest health care provider in New York State. Dr. Woolforde leads nursing excellence strategies that support the health systems quality, safety, experience, and other system goals. A graduate of doctoral programs at both Columbia University and Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Woolforde has been named National Certified Nurse of the Year and is a Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine and The American Academy of Nursing.
